In The Beginning
The Unlimited Riders Motorcycle Club was founded by William
‘Big Wil’ Bowers of Annapolis, MD during the year of 2001. One evening while
hanging out with his longtime friend, riding and business partner, Louis
‘Much-Luv’ Ragsdale he talked about his desire to start a motorcycle club. He
had the Club Name and the Club Colors designed and ready for patent. The
By-laws, Rules and Regulations he wanted followed were in draft. He wanted a
Non-Profit Organization that would give back to the community. A Club of Sports
bike fans that wanted to get together and do something positive and have fun
doing it. With that said, they started putting the word out to others,
especially those that they occasionally road with. The Unlimited Riders
Motorcycle Club started out with six members: Wil Bowers, President; Louis
Ragsdale, Vice President, Connie ‘Baby Girl’ Johnson, Secretary, Marcus ‘Show
Time’ Tongue, Sgt. at Arms, Christopher Watson, Business Mgr, and Andre,
Treasurer.
Our first meeting was held on Tuesday, September 17th, 2002. Officer positions
and By-laws were discussed and voted on. The members got together every Sunday
for a road ride. They started holding monthly meetings at various members’ homes
every second Tuesday of the month (day closest to the 15th without going over).
Gradually, more and more people joined the club either by word of mouth or
seeing the positive attitude and service that the Unlimited Riders had in the
Annapolis area community.

Maryland)
